Ms. Wheelchair Alabama

Ms. Wheelchair Alabama works to eliminate the barriers that prevent people with disabilities from living a full and meaningful life. The barriers that exist are both architectural and attitudinal. She will educate the general public and bring awareness of these issues, while sharing the many achievements of people with disabilities across Alabama. During her year long reign, she will have the opportunity to travel throughout Alabama visiting elected officials, talking with individuals, and various community groups. During her year-long reign she will have the opportunity to travel throughout Alabama visiting elected officials, talking with individuals, and various community groups.  She will also make various appearances and conduct radio, print, and TV interviews. Her commitment and personal example serve to further the mission of Ms. Wheelchair Alabama.
