Ms. Wheelchair Maine!

We need your help finding her.

The duties of Ms. Wheelchair Maine include promoting awareness of the need to eliminate architectural and attitudinal barriers, informing the public of the achievements of people with disabilities across Maine. During her year long reign, she will have the opportunity to travel throughout Maine visiting advocacy groups, making public appearances and conducting radio, print, and TV interviews. The commitment and personal example of the titleholder serves to further the mission of Ms. Wheelchair Maine.

Ms. Wheelchair Maine needs to be a woman that uses a wheelchair for 100% of her community mobility. She must be at least 21 years of age, a resident of Maine and a United States citizen. She should be an advocate with good communication skills that can travel the state.
