Coordinator Updates

By the time you get this, you should have already sent the final application paperwork and registration fee to the host state and Laura Abdelaziz. Thank you for helping your titleholders comply with the deadlines.

The MWA Board of Directors is looking forward to seeing you in Maryland. It’s not too late to make a reservation to join the fun. If you are coming to nationals, please let Laura and/or Denise know. We want to make sure to include you in the count! Plan to join us at the Annual Meeting on Friday, when we nominate and elect the Board of Directors.

A Note from the Executive Director

The final countdown has begun and the Ms. Wheelchair America Pageant is just around the corner! Robert Watson, Judy Hoit and the host pageant committee have worked very hard to plan a terrific event. As a former host state coordinator, I know how excited they are for the upcoming festivities. The MWA Board of Directors is preparing a fun and informative Annual Meeting and Coordinator’s Workshop for all of you coming to nationals.

On behalf of the entire MWA Board of Directors, thanks to each and every one of you for all of the time and hard work you put into helping your state titleholders prepare for the national pageant. We are thankful to have such a dynamic and dedicated group of men and women representing our organization throughout the nation. We look forward to meeting your titleholders next month, and hearing them present their platforms.
